Barberry – Berberis vulgaris

Pollen Description : Barberry pollen is distinctive due to to roughly rounded shape and its unusual single spiral shaped furrow aperture.  This can give the pollen grain a tennis-ball-like appearance.  It is approximately 40 um in diameter and a granulated texture.
