Common Sea Lavender – Limonium vulgare

Pollen Description : Common Sea Lavender is very distinctive due to its deeply netted exine section, which gives it a frilly appearance.  It is roughly round in shape, although its furrow type apertures cut deep into the body of the pollen grain.  It is approximately 55 um in diameter.
