Skimmia Japonica

Plant : Skimmia Japonica is a non-native species but is grown in gardens for its evergreen foliage and decoration.  It can grow up to 1.5 m high and is very attractive to honey bees when in flower.  It is a member of the Rutaceae family.

Flower : The small white flowers grow in bunches and have four petals and four stamen.  It flowers in May and June.
