Meadow Crane’s-bill – Geranium pratense

Plant : Meadow Crane’s-bill is a native wild flower and is commonly found in hedgerow, woodland and shrub land.  It’s slender stems grow up to 1 m tall.  It belong to the Geraniaceae family.  The palmate leaves are deeply lobed and typical of the family.

Flower : The flowers are a deep blue colour and have five petals.  The flowers grow in pairs and flower in June to September.
