Large Thyme – Thymus pulegiodes

Pollen Description : Large Thyme pollen is round, although its six furrow type apertures give it a slightly hexagonal appearance.  It is approximately 50 um in diameter.  The exine is of medium thickness and the surface has a finely pitted texture.  The pollen load is white.
